Looking to buy a knife, Benchmade 5000, in a local business, but I have the right of the State of Virginia, and said, illegal knives. While the Bank says, can sell it, because I am a soldier in active service, you can operate legally to do while not at work? If so, what are the legal information?

Unlike many other states, Virginia is no exception to the gun laws for members of the armed forces, but with an exception made for the police. My impression is that, as a member of the armed forces is limited, the performance of his duties outside the United States or to U.S. bases. For example, you can not have your gun and grenades from legal sources. Therefore, the same applies to knives that can be legally used in training or service in the event of deployment, but can not carry around the city outside of the service.

The applicable law is § 18.2-308. Please note that purchase under Part B, is it legal to this knife, transportation from the place of purchase for your home and own and keep it there. You can not carry on your person or in your car though.

Well, if you have a supported by a spring opening will open a knife, or a button or lever that opens the knife so I could be illegal. There are a lot of gray area with this kind of thing and it is not many things in the police again, you should be fine. Once parked BTW Quantico?

Simple answer. Legally, you can buy, but you can if you do not, the U.S. military property, while in the United States. If you are not subject to use abroad with local laws. Allow the soil, while the former United.
